At our South-40 Catering Company, which is close to downtown, we offer two banquet facilities as well as several small private rooms in the Legendary Barndoor Steakhouse. Accommodating from 6 to 225 guests.

Our Banquet Hall seats up to 225 guests. It has a dance floor, fireplace, porch, and a bar. Our guests say that this plantation-style hall is the perfect size and makes them feel extra comfortable.

Our Antique Barn seats up to 150 guests.  Full of antiques, and sometimes sawdust on the floor, it is the perfect place for a casual event such as a company party, barn dance, or rehearsal dinner. Our venues share a common-area courtyard with a covered patio. We do offer an option to have it private for weddings and special outside events.
 
 

Banquet Hall Policies

For your convenience we have outlined some of our policies that are necessary for you to know in booking your functions.

Definite Bookings: Upon receiving your signed contract we will hold booking on a definite basis. We require an advance deposit of $500.00 dollars unless other arrangements are made.

Menu: Your final menu selection must be made at least one (1) week prior to your function date.

Menu Price: Prices quoted are subject to change, and can be guaranteed three months prior to the function.

Guarantees: All meal guarantees must be given 72 hours in advance. If a guarantee is not received 72 hours in advance, the estimated figure will be considered the guarantee. Charges will be based on the guarantee or actual service-whichever is greater.

Outside Alcoholic Beverages: Because of our Texas licensing alcoholic beverages cannot be brought onto the premises; nor, may they be carried out. If this happens we will have to stop the party, forfeiting any time left.

Payment, Tax and Gratuities: An applicable Tax and 17% service charge will be applied to all functions. All functions must be paid in full the day prior to the event except for host bars, minor changes, additions, or breakage cost.. A credit card must be authorized for these charges.

Personal Property: We cannot assume responsibility for personal property left in the Banquet Hall by the host or guest prior to , during, or following the function. The host agrees to be responsible for, and to reimburse the South Forty Catering Co. for any damage caused by himself and or his guest to be responsible for, equipment , Banquet Hall property, as well as property of others directly or indirectly associated with your function. We cannot be responsible for articles left in motor vehicles, or damage to vehicles parked on South Forty Catering Co. parking facilities.

Equipment: The following equipment is complimentary unless otherwise specified and is based on Availability. P.A. System Extension Cords Podiums Microphones.

Common area: If both the Banquet Hall and the Antique Barn are rented restores and the outside area must be shared by both parties.

Confetti : No confetti, bird seed, rice or anything that will require clean-up inside or outside.
